Long Term Trader Service |
Who The Service Is For: This service is for the slightly more aggressive investor that wants to learn about the value of premium collection and income generation strategies in addition to utilizing calls and puts directionally for longer term appreciation. This service is the next logical step up from the “buy and hold” approach and will expand your knowledge about premium collection strategies beyond the use of covered call only strategies. The covered call is but one of the premium collection strategies. This service will teach and walk you through all the others. Using mid to longer term options helps to more efficiently utilize capital and through leverage produce potentially better returns. Ideally this is best suited for investors who are looking to generate monthly income by taking advantage of consolidation patterns in stocks and ETFs and indices along with some directional leans. Strategies Utilized: The strategies used will primarily be the calendar spread, long calls & long puts, vertical call and put spreads, and on occasion, the butterfly or the condor. Reasons To Join: Despite the increases in volatility in recent years, a typical stock’s natural state is one of consolidation or being range bound. Studies have shown that a stock’s yearly movement can be accounted for in only two to three months of the year. This means that roughly 75% of the time a stock is not trending (moving). That leaves 25% of the time that will account for annual movement so it logically follows that 75% of the time over the course of the year the stock is moving very little to not moving at all. If this is true, then an intelligently managed premium collection strategy should prove to be consistently profitable. For times and conditions when premium collection strategies (Calendars, Butterflies, Condors, “Covered Leap Writes”, Diagonals) are not appropriate this service will deploy directionally oriented strategies (Long Call & Put, Verticals, Diagonals) to capture returns from participation in trending movement. |
